Meet Mrs. Brenner

My name is Rachel Brenner and I will be serving as your Library Media Specialist at Sloan Creek.  I am very excited to join Lovejoy ISD this year.  I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University - Commerce and my Master of Library Science from Texas Woman's University. This will be my eighteenth year in education, previously I was an elementary librarian with Denton ISD and taught 1st grade for 16 years with Princeton ISD. I live in Allen with my husband, Kyle and our 14 year-old son, Keagan. I can’t wait to build relationships with the students at Sloan Creek and help each to find their own reading niche!
