Welcome to SCIS Visual Art Class!

My name is Hannah Updyke and this is my 2nd year at Sloan Creek Intermediate School! I grew up in The Colony, Texas and proudly went to The University of Texas for my B.F.A in Visual Art Studies. Upon graduation, I had an opportunity to work and live in Tuscany, Italy, assisting college study abroad programs and deepening my love for the Italian culture more and more each day.

This year will be my 6th year teaching art in the North Dallas area and I love working in the Lovejoy Community with such strong supporters of Fine Arts! My faith and my family keep me grounded daily. I love spending time creating art, going to UT football games with my husband, Allen and attending my 5 nieces and nephews sporting events nearby!
