Yazz Topchick

My name is Yasmine Topchik ( Yazz is my nickname).  Welcome to Take Flight! I am excited to be a part of the Sloan Creek Intermediate School staff.  This will be my 11th year working in Lovejoy ISD, and my 7th year as a Dyslexia Therapist.  I graduated from TWU with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Child Development.  I received my CALT in 2018. I have two children; Caroline will be a Junior and Ethan will be a Freshman.  They have both been Lovejoy Leopards since kindergarten.

 

It is my passion to help students who struggle in reading to gain confidence as readers and to teach them strategies on how to succeed in the areas of fluency and comprehension.  I am looking forward to a great school year and I cannot wait to have you in my classroom to get to know you.
