What a wonderful way to start the day — with our loved ones and lattes! ☕️❤️ Events like this remind us how special our Puster community truly is. A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for sponsoring this event and helping create meaningful moments for our students, teachers and families‼️

We delivered our Valentines for Veterans to the Plano VA, Dallas VA, Greenville VA, and L3Harris, and the response was incredibly heartwarming. ❤️ Because of our Puster student's thoughtfulness, hundreds of veterans felt seen, appreciated, and remembered. We are so proud of the kindness our students continue to share with others!

Learning lit up! 🏮✨ Our students got to explore Lunar New Year through data, then engineered lanterns designed to hold a tea light—combining culture, creativity, and problem-solving all in one activity. Keep shining your light, Puster Leopards!

Squish, roll, shape, create‼️Our first grade artists had a blast exploring the art of clay today.

On Monday, February 9th the LISD Board of Trustees approved submitting a state waiver for missed school days on January 28 and 29, 2026 due to inclement weather.
After receiving Board approval, Lovejoy ISD applied for and has been granted a missed school state waiver; therefore, at this time, we will not have to attend school on the March 23 and April 6, 2026 bad weather make-up days.
We appreciate your patience while we completed the required processes to secure the waiver.
Wishing you a Happy Valentine’s and Presidents’ Day!

Physical Education is more than just movement — it builds confidence, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits. Thanks coach Hill and coach Mik!

100 days of learning = 100 days smarter! Kindergarten had the best time celebrating this big milestone.

We're so grateful for family and traditions in Lovejoy! ♥️ Today our kindergarteners are celebrating the 100th day of school.
Interestingly enough, one of our student's great-grandfather is turning 100 this year. When asked what kindergarten was like for him he said, So much has changed. And yet… so much has stayed the same. School was important because it gave children a routine and a safe place to learn. Teachers still shape hearts and minds. And learning still opens doors.
As we celebrate 100 days, it’s worth pausing to reflect on how far education has come — and how timeless its purpose truly is."

Small groups, big math wins! 🧮✨
Comparing numbers with tens and ones — learning together and growing every day!

Inspired by the book Groundhog Day!, our students designed creative contraptions to keep the groundhog from seeing his shadow. So much creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving packed into one STEM challenge!
