Laura's Brief Biography

I’m so excited to be at Sloan Creek again this year!  This is my second year on campus and I have previously worked as a 4th grade math and science teacher at Hart Elementary.  

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in 2006 and my Master’s degree from University of Texas at Arlington in 2010.  I have three kids going into 7th grade this year and one Goldendoodle.  In my free time, I enjoy hiking, completing puzzles, spending time with my family, listening to podcasts, and reading books.

The community at Lovejoy is absolutely amazing and it is a privilege to teach here.  It’s my mission to collaborate with families, teachers, and students to get the best outcome for your child’s education.
