Debbie Cox

Hello! My name is Debbie Cox and this will be my second year, teaching 6th RLA, at Sloan Creek.  This will be my 16th year in education.  It’s been refreshing to return to RLA after spending the last 9 years teaching Family and Consumer Sciences in high school. I graduated from Texas Woman’s University and received my teaching certification from East Texas State University.

I live in Caddo Mills with my husband of 30 years, Brian(BU).   We have 2 sons, Garrett(BU)married to Rachel(BU)and parents to our granddaughter Reese(1 ½) and Ty(Hillsdale & Northwood) who will marry Sheridan in Sept.(Hillsdale & Marquette School of Dentistry). 

Away from school I enjoy working in my yard, READING, and traveling. I look forward to sharing my love of Reading with each student and helping them find the joy that reading can bring to their lives.
