About Ms. Kimbrough
I am so excited to be your 5th grade Science teacher. My name is Michelle Kimbrough and I taught 5th grade Science last year. I graduated from Texas Tech University. “Go Red Raiders” and taught in Lubbock, Texas for 25 years. This is my 28th year to teach and I love working for LISD and at SCIS. There is nowhere else I would rather be working.
I have 3 amazing children. Shea, Taylor and Clay. They are grown and very independent. I am excited to be living so close to them.
For 5th grade science, students will be in my class for about 42 minutes a day. During class time we will review and build on past concepts learned. Students will become familiar with working in Google Classroom and STEMscopes, the science curriculum. This is the first year that science will be state tested. This will take place during the May STAAR. **Tutoring-Mondays 3:00-3:30.
