Ryan Rohlmeier

Hello everyone!

My name is Ryan Rohlmeier, and I am blessed to be teaching 5th Grade Social Studies again this year. I am incredibly excited to get to know each one of your children and explore what Social Studies is really all about, and why it matters. We really focus on being leaders and making the world a better place.

This is my twelfth year teaching with all of them being in Lovejoy. I taught RLA and Social Studies at Puster my first year, and I have been teaching Social Studies for the past ten years here at Sloan Creek. This year I also have the privilege of teaching Social Studies GT! 

I graduated from the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!) in the fall of 2011, and it was there I was fortunate to meet a woman who is truly my better half. Jessie and I celebrated our ten-year anniversary this past June. Jessie is a Library Media Specialist in Allen. We have the most wonderful two boys, seven-year-old David, who is a great big brother to our youngest Luke, who is three. I love being a dad! 

I am looking forward to another fantastic year here at SCIS!
