Ariel Stewart

I am Ariel Stewart, and I am so excited to be your librarian!

I received my bachelor's degree from University of North Texas in 2014, and I began teaching kindergarten at Hart Elementary here in Lovejoy. The opportunity to start my career here fueled my passion for 21st century learning and the importance of building strong relationships with students and peers. While teaching I completed my Masters in Library Sciences and now I am overjoyed to take that knowledge and experience I have into this amazing school year!

I live in Allen with my husband Troy (a teacher at Mckinney High), and our cat Tux.

Some of my hobbies are READING, crafting, hiking, being outdoors, eating and exploring new restaurants and enjoying lots of social time with my friends.
