Hello Leopards!
I've worked for eighteen fulfilling years as an English teacher, and I love every minute! I grew up in
Plano, and went on to graduate with a degree in Literature from The University of North Texas. I began my teaching career with ten years at the middle school level in Plano ISD, and have made my teaching home at Sloan Creek for the past eight school years. My two boys are Leopards as well, and I've never been so thrilled!

I believe that my students can do anything that they believe they can do, and I believe that their potential is limitless! My favorite authors include, (but are not limited to;) E.L. Konigsburg, Jerry Spinelli, Sharon Creech, AVI, Maggie Stiefvater, J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, and Veronica Roth. I passionately feel that life-long readers are life-long learners, and strive to nurture a true love of literature in each of the students I have the pleasure of teaching.
I generally spend my time outside of the classroom with my husband and sons enjoying outdoor activities, READING, gardening, and enjoying our pet dogs, cat, and rabbits!
